using English outside of class

I sometimes use English outside of class. In dorms, I sometimes do not know where the homework is, I will ask Leonard about it. Leonard and I are from different country. He is from Africa, I am from Taiwan, so we must use English to talk with each other. I not only can practice my English but also can know about him more. I sometimes talk and play with Edward with English. I think I can improve my conversation by talking to him. I hope I can use English anywhere, even at dorms. If I can do that, I will must make my English progress.
